Infinite Beauty series was inspired by my frequent travels to Santa Fe, NM during 2012-13. The colors, the people, the culture, the food and their rituals inspired me. The figures in this series represent the people, the blending of the different cultures that creates the vibrancy and bold expression of Santa Fe. The Sangre de Cristo and Jemez Mountains inspired the mountains in this series. I used bold, angular lines with colorful strokes to emphasize the beauty and expression of these amazing mountain ranges. The Dots enhance and embellish the shapes. They add vibrancy and life. They are like my exclamation points to finish my piece to end my sentence.
